About the Role
Xanfab is seeking a Soldering Technician to support our PCB assembly (PCBA) production through hands-on soldering, assembly, and rework work. This role plays a key part in maintaining build quality and inventory accuracy on the production floor. The ideal candidate brings hands-on soldering experience, strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and thrives in a dynamic production environment where their contributions are visible and directly add value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform assembly, rework, and repair of small electrical sub-assemblies in accordance with work instructions, IPC standards, and
drawings set forth by the Production Manager

· Maintain status and traceability of component inventory using configuration management tools
· Keep internal documentation organized and up to date
· Contribute to our continuous improvement culture
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Current IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001, Class 3 (aerospace/high-reliability) certification required; candidates with lapsed certification and
demonstrated equivalent experience may be considered pending re-certification

· Minimum 1 years of experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment
· Soldering and desoldering of through-hole and SMT components, including use of microscope, fine-pitch soldering, and
rework/modification

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs)
· Familiarity with ANSI/ESD S20.20 electrostatic discharge (ESD) control requirements
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Basic computer proficiency (work order logging, MES/ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with J-STD-033C and other IPC standards
· Excellent communication skills written and verbal
· Critical thinker who requires minimal supervision to complete tasks
· Kitting experience
· Computer experience/operation (Microsoft Office)
Additional Requirements
· Ability to work day shift, with occasional overtime and weekend work as business needs require
· Regular presence on the production floor; ability to stand for extended periods.
· Ability to lift 25lbs (fixtures, tooling, equipment)

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
